RUDC sponsored the first annual "Clash of the Carts"

"Racing whatcha brung" was lots of fun in Uptown Roxboro.

Paid prizes were awarded for first three places.

This event was FREE to the public.

Folks were encouraged to form teams and enter their idea of the most outrageous cart then race against the clock down Lamar Street.

These are not "Soap Box Derby" carts but crazy, outrageous, down-right-foolish contraptions.

Points were awarded based on Speed, Creativity and Showmanship so everyone had a chance to win!
